What started off as a trans-continental cowriting project between Belgium’s Gilles Gerlo & Sydney’s Paul Kilpinen has now become genuine indie pop band Real Moxy. Layers of synths, guitar melodies and vocal harmonies blend their love of lush studio pop with DIY bedroom production.
2021 saw the release of their first double single Spell It Out / I Can Be Good Company. The band also expanded to a five-piece with the addition of Jed Maisey, Jamie Cochrane and Luke Cramp.
Real Moxy are currently playing live at venues in and around Sydney.
